FAQ

A: Yes.  Everyone has the potential to become hypnotized.  The secret is to know if the individual is a physical suggestible or a emotional suggestible individual.

A: No.  All hypnosis is self hypnosis. The hypnotist only guides you a little deeper into this perfectly natural state. People are in and out of hypnosis all day long. The most common is road hypnosis. You don't always remember every inch of the road you drive, but you get to your destination just the same. YOU ARE ALWAYS IN CONTROL.

A: No. This type of behavior is seen with stage hypnosis. These people are carefully chosen and placed in a deep state of hypnosis for entertainment value. The people are usually very outgoing who know what is expected of them. They anticipate this behavior. This state can suggest hallucinations and these become very real to the person, however, for the most part therapeutic hypnosis only requires a light to medium state. The bottom line is NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU DO ANYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO DO.

A: No.  Hypnosis can help you quit smoking or to lose weight, as well as other issues a person may have, but an individual needs to have the desire to change these issues. The hypnotherapist can not MAKE you do anything, you have to want to do it for yourself.  If you are only doing it because a friend or loved one is making you, hypnosis will not be successful.

A: No.  No one can be placed in a hypnotic state without their full cognitive cooperation. NO ONE CAN BE HYPNOTIZED AGAINST THEIR WILL.
